As a Senior Nondestructive Testing Inspector, you'll perform advanced inspections on metallic and composite aircraft structures while supporting production, sustainment, and advanced development programs. This role combines hands on inspection work, technical problem solving, continuous learning, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and mission readiness.

What You Will Be Doing: As a Senior Nondestructive Testing Inspector, you'll perform advanced inspections using multiple NDT methods while supporting some of Lockheed Martin's most innovative aerospace programs. You'll work alongside highly skilled inspectors, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure aircraft structures meet the highest quality and performance standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform nondestructive inspections using Penetrant, Radiography, and Ultrasonic testing methods
  • Set up, operate, and maintain advanced computerized NDT equipment
  • Inspect metallic structures, composite assemblies, bonded components, and weldments
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements to ensure product quality
  • Support development and continuous improvement of inspection techniques and procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
  • Assist in training and mentoring developing NDT inspectors through on the job instruction
  • Maintain compliance with NAS 410 certification requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures
