Job Description

Oversee KMUL programming by updating shows and researching new music for broadcast

Programming Director For Kmul

The programming director for KMUL is responsible for updating The Beat's pre-recorded shows, brainstorming other pre-recorded shows to fill gaps in programming, and researching new music to share.

Examples Of Duties

Duties Include:

  • Each week pre-program automated shows such as "The Beatles Power Hour", "Wake Up and Jam", and "It's SHOWTIME!!".
  • Informally survey students to find music tastes and program shows accordingly Work with Radio Club
  • Come up with new ideas for shows

Typical Qualifications

Education:

  • Sophomore, Junior or Senior at the University of Central Missouri

Experience:

  • No prior experience required

Supplemental Information

Working Hours and Days:

  • Monday- Saturday 7:00 AM- 10:00 PM as scheduled
  • No more than 20 hours a week

Special Instructions:
