Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support site access activities. Pay Rate: $18.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, docks, parking lots, trailers, gate areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor the movement of employees, visitors, and/or delivery personnel entering and exiting the location, following post instructions for access control and credential verification.
  • Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, while maintaining a visible presence throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
