Manage daily shipping and receiving operations for domestic and international shipments.
Shipper / Receiver
This role focuses on managing daily shipping and receiving activities in a busy warehouse environment, including domestic shipments and supporting international shipments. You will handle general warehouse and material handling duties, maintain accurate inventory records, and communicate regularly with external vendors to ensure orders move efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily shipping and receiving duties for domestic orders and support international shipments as needed.
- Handle incoming and outgoing materials, including loading, unloading, and staging products in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and help track stock levels to support smooth warehouse operations.
- Verify shipment details, including quantities and documentation, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively to move, store, and organize materials.
- Communicate regularly with external vendors to coordinate shipments, resolve issues, and confirm delivery details.
- Support general labor and warehouse tasks as assigned to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
Essential Skills
- Experience with domestic shipping processes.
- Exposure to international shipping processes (preferred).
- Strong computer skills to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory-related tasks.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with external vendors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse environment.
- Experience in material handling and inventory control.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing operation.

Work Environment
You will work in a large, open warehouse with bright, natural light and a team of approximately 80 colleagues. The role involves hands-on material handling and use of warehouse equipment in a busy, collaborative environment. Closed-toe shoes are required as part of the dress code to support safety on the warehouse floor.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Biddeford, ME.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
