Lead on-site general labor for Osage Beach commercial construction projects
Construction Laborer – Ozarks
$23/hour to start, after 90 day pay bumps to around $25/hour
This role supports large, complex commercial construction projects such as data centers, student housing high-rises, hotels, mixed-use urban developments, and commercial or industrial facilities. You will perform a wide range of general labor and site support tasks to keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Support large, complex new-build commercial construction projects, including data centers, student housing high-rises, hotels, mixed-use urban developments, and commercial or industrial facilities.
- Perform general construction labor such as site preparation, material handling, debris removal, and basic cleanup throughout the job site.
- Assist with concrete-related tasks, including preparing work areas, moving materials, and supporting concrete pours under the direction of experienced team members.
- Use hand tools and basic mechanical tools safely and correctly to complete assigned tasks.
- Support landscaping-related activities as needed, including site grading, basic grounds work, and exterior cleanup.
- Operate or assist with forklifts and other equipment when authorized and properly trained, following all safety procedures.
- Assist electricians and other trades by moving materials, organizing tools, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by performing regular cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled trades professionals to complete tasks on time and to quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, procedures, and site rules while consistently using required personal protective equipment.
Essential Skills
- 2–3 years of solid construction trades experience in the field on new-build construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with general construction labor tasks on active job sites.
- Ability to perform concrete-related work, including supporting concrete pours and handling materials.
- Proficiency using common construction hand tools safely and effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with basic mechanical tools and equipment.
- Experience supporting landscaping or exterior site work on construction projects.
- Ability to assist with production tasks and follow detailed instructions from supervisors.
- Capability to perform job site cleaning and housekeeping duties to maintain a safe work environment.
- Experience working around electrical trades and construction environments, following safety practices.
- Ability to operate or assist with forklifts and other material-handling equipment when trained and authorized.
- Reliability in working a consistent daytime schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience on large, complex commercial construction projects such as data centers, high-rise buildings, hotels, mixed-use developments, or industrial facilities.
- Comfort working in coordination with multiple trades on busy, high-activity job sites.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of tasks to support project needs.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety on the job site.

Work Environment
This role is fully field-based on active new-build construction sites. You will work primarily outdoors or in partially completed structures that are not climate controlled, so conditions may be hot, cold, dusty, or noisy depending on the season and project phase. Standard hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the potential for additional hours as project needs require. You will regularly use construction hand tools, basic mechanical tools, and may work around forklifts and other material-handling equipment. The environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring appropriate work attire and the consistent use of personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility clothing, gloves, and sturdy work boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Osage Beach, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
