Sommelier

We are hiring for a driven, ambitious and knowledgeable sommelier. Candidates must have a keen sense of hospitality, excellent work ethic and be self-starters, and must be dedicated to growing their knowledge through discipline, study and educating others. The most ideal person for this role has been under the extended mentorship of a learned wine professional, has experience in elevated dining environments and can function gracefully in high pressure environments. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Working as a server and proficiently running a section when needed.
• Providing helping hands wherever needed during service (this may include back-serving, glass polishing, pouring by-the-glass wines).
• Assisting with the organization, unpacking, and monthly inventory of wine.
• Assisting the sommelier team with other department-specific tasks.

Experience in upscale dining is required, as well as classic and contemporary food and wine knowledge. We are professionals seeking the same in our job candidates. Please reply with a resumé and availability. We look forward to meeting you.

Compensation: Hourly ($17.00) plus tips
