Client Relations Analyst

Required:

  • Excellent grammar and composition skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, English/Communications or a related discipline; work experience considered in lieu of these degrees preferred.
  • Knowledge and some level of expertise in the brokerage industry or banking operations preferred.
  • Strong initiative and drive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook programs.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Exceptional phone presentation skills.
  • Able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment while handling a wide variety of tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and succeed in a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and respond to operational client complaints while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal complaint-handling guidelines.
  • Analysts in this role must collaborate effectively with business partners, including field and operations staff and management, to escalate and resolve complaint-related issues.
  • Responsible for building strong working relationships with Client Relations Editors while learning departmental processes and style guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as analysts must effectively manage workload while demonstrating initiative, self-motivation, and accountability.
  • Requires participation in the coverage of client-facing telephone lines, with analysts expected to provide phone support at least one day per week.
  • Analysts must maintain a professional and client-focused approach while handling incoming calls and addressing inquiries.
  • May support various operational functions within Client Relations, including settlement processing, privacy opt-out processing, and participation in special projects as needed.
