Inventory Assistant

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Jim Coleman Nissan Infiniti is looking for an Inventory Assistant to help keep our vehicle inventory accurate, organized, and moving efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. You'll work alongside experienced leadership while gaining valuable knowledge in inventory management, dealership operations, and vehicle merchandising.

What You'll Do

As an Inventory Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our inventory is accurate, organized, and ready for both our sales team and customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with managing new and pre-owned vehicle inventory.
  • Verify vehicle information and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing vehicle movements.
  • Assist with dealer trades, vehicle transfers, and inventory logistics.
  • Help maintain lot organization and vehicle placement.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly photographed and represented online.
  • Monitor inventory reports and communicate discrepancies.
  • Work closely with Sales, Service, and Management to support daily operations.
  • Perform regular lot audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Help prepare vehicles for sale by ensuring required documentation and vehicle status are complete.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous dealership or automotive experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning dealership software.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
