Job Description
Respond to emergencies as a fully trained firefighter and HazMat technician at Fort Campbell.
Firefighting Duties
Serve as a fully trained member of a firefighting crew responding to emergencies involving fire, emergency medical services, hazardous material and other protection of life and property.
Actively participates in training sessions as scheduled and/or directed by Lead or Supervisory Firefighters when required.
Serve as Driver/Operator of motorized fire apparatus as required.
Operate all fire fighting vehicle auxiliary equipment.
Alternate as hose person, ladder person, hydrant person, rescue person, nozzle person, salvage person, or hand lineperson.
Administers emergency medical care and treatment for illnesses and injuries of occupational and non-occupational origin for soldiers, dependents, civilian employees, and visitors.
Determines the proper pressure for the distance agent is required to be delivered.
Directs and coordinates operations in firefighting tactics until relieved by a senior fire officer.
Monitors and recommends corrective actions as necessary for improving lower echelon personnel performance.
