Forklift Driver

Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Driver for our client in Edison, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

  • All shifts available
  • 1st Shift: 8AM – 5PM
  • 2nd Shift: 4PM – 12PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11PM – 7:30AM or 8PM – 5:30AM

Pay Rate:

  • $17 – $18 / hour

Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators to join our team. Our primary need is for 3rd Shift, but candidates interested in 1st or 2nd Shift are also encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment, including: Turret Truck, Forklift (Sit-Down and Stand-Up), Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Electric Pallet Jack, Bendi Forklift, and Clamp Truck
  • Load, unload, move, and store products throughout the warehouse.
  • Pick and stage orders accurately.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Support inventory and general warehouse operations as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience operating one or more of the listed equipment.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy materials throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working at heights when operating Cherry Pickers and Turret Trucks.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
