Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely order fulfillment
Order Packer
Nesco Resource is hiring an Order Packer for a distribution center in Gastonia!
Shift:
- Monday – Thursday, 8am – 4:30pm
- Friday 8:30pm – 4pm
Primary Responsibilities:
- Pick orders according to specific instructions and guidelines
- Pack orders within specific given guidelines
- May require driving forklifts or move materials using a pallet jack
- Ability to train others to perform jobs that you are already experienced at when required
- Maintain a clean work environment to assure the safety of yourself and others
- Take oral and written assignments from Manager and Area Supervisor
Competencies:
- Effective communication/comprehension skills – verbal and written
- Must be able to work well with others as a team as well as work independently
- Must be able to comprehend and perform all work assignments accurately
