Maintenance Technician – Property
Our client, a leading property management company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the upkeep and improvement of a vibrant residential community. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a reliable work ethic, and a passion for hands-on work which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Charlotte NC
Pay Range: $26 per hour
Shift: M-F 8:30am-5pm
What's the Job?
- Perform plumbing tasks such as replacing faucets and toilets, diagnosing and repairing leaks, and operating sewer augers.
- Conduct electrical work including replacing outlets and light fixtures, understanding GFCIs, breakers, and basic wiring.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal by mowing lawns, weeding, planting flowers, and ensuring the property is clean and inviting.
- Execute unit turnovers by performing clean-outs and light rehabilitation work to prepare units for new residents.
- Efficiently complete maintenance requests and work orders independently while adhering to safety protocols.
What's Needed?
- 2–3 years of general labor experience, preferably in landscaping or property maintenance.
- Experience operating a zero-turn lawn mower.
- 1–2 years of basic residential plumbing experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic technology skills and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
