FTE: 0.3, Shift: Nights (1800 – 0630), Schedule: 12-HR Shifts
Position Summary
The Emergency Services Technician Lab is an exciting opportunity on the MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Department team, offering a supportive role assisting practitioners with patient care and executing administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform direct patient care as directed
- Engage critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
- Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain Washington State certification/licensure as a MA-P and NA-R within 120 days of placement in position Washington State C.N.A will substitute for the NA-R; MA-C will substitute for the MA-P, NA-R and C.N.A certification/licensure
- Experience with phlebotomy and initiation of EKG, Medical Assistant – Phlebotomist Certification preferred
- Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, EMT or phlebotomist in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three years
- Current BLS Certification

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.78 – $37.71 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
