Own the end-to-end recruitment cycle for high-volume manufacturing roles on a 6-month contract

Recruiter (Supply Chain)

Pay: $36/hr. Location: Remote/Hybrid (in office 2 day per week) 1000 Top Quality Dr, Horse Cave, KY 42749 Estimated Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6-month contract M-F, full-time (40 hours); W2 Health Benefits Offered

This position is for a contract recruiter that can assist in the full talent life cycle in a high volume, hourly recruiting environment. The position will be available for 6 months and then will be re-evaluated for further use in the organization. The Contract Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, pre-screening, coordinating, scheduling and following up with candidates, hiring managers, and the local HR team to meet the timely needs of filling roles at the manufacturing site.

  • Partners with hiring managers to identify, evaluate required responsibilities, knowledge, and competencies regarding job requirements.
  • Partners with hiring managers providing consultative and advisory recruiting strategies including market trends, candidate assessments, candidate challenges, timelines, interview schedules/conflicts, etc.
  • Partners with internal HR Partner to identify appropriate salary for the position(s).
  • Ensures all proper requisition forms have been completed and approved before position is filled.
  • Posts positions on preapproved recruiting sites.
  • Provides continuous networking with internal and external sources to identify potential candidates.
  • Reviews resumes, interviews (via phone and/or one-on-one virtually), identifies whether candidates meet requirements, schedules candidates for interviews with hiring managers, facilitates debriefs on candidates.
  • Consults/advises hiring manager(s), Human Resources, and candidates regularly on the status of the open position.
  • Understands and improves department processes to create a more streamlined and efficient hiring process and reduce overall time to fill
  • Processes and provides on-boarding information.
  • Ensures all critical paperwork is provided and completed through the recruitment lifecycle
  • As needed, assists hiring managers in creating job descriptions that identify the duties and responsibilities, education, experience, and knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully complete the job.
  • Prioritizes work to meet commitments aligned with the plant/organization goals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience recruiting for high volume manufacturing roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous experience in multi-site recruiting environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience recruiting within the Consumer-Packaged Goods or Food Industry preferred
  • Previous experience recruiting within the Manufacturing industry preferred.
  • iCIMS ATS experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
