Under supervision, performs skilled journeyman electrician tasks; maintain, repair, and install electrical systems, equipment and components such as: motors and motor controllers, lighting systems, control devices, switches and cables; transformers, lightening arresters and conductors. Test, troubleshoot and locate electrical malfunctions using appropriate test instruments. Coordinate services with Hospital employees and contractors. Job standards are to be performed at the EXPERT level.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proof of Journeyman Electrician status.
• Five (5) or more years of experience working on institutional construction projects.
• Two (2) or more years of experience working on OSHPD-regulated projects.
• Experience working in occupied healthcare environments.
• Must have a strong knowledge of and experience with tools, equipment and products of the trade.
• Must be able to work at heights; in confined spaces and lift motors.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electrician License.
• Ability to work within infection control containments.
• Experience working in occupied healthcare environments.

• Must maintain reliable transportation.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $105,841 – $105,841 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $50.69 – $50.69
