Job Description
Manage front desk operations and greet visitors to ensure a professional, welcoming experience.
Receptionist
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional front-desk support and administrative assistance. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing incoming communications, and supporting daily office operations.
Ideal candidate is a professional, customer-focused receptionist with strong communication and organizational skills. They will be comfortable managing a busy front desk, assisting visitors, handling phone calls, and providing administrative support while maintaining a positive and welcoming office environment.
This role is open for coverage for an employee on leave, with an assignment duration of 3–4 months and potential for extension.
Key responsibilities include answering and directing incoming phone calls, greeting visitors and assisting with registration and check-in procedures, providing front desk and reception support, setting up meeting rooms as needed, assisting with general administrative and clerical tasks, maintaining a professional and welcoming office environment, and supporting department and office operations as assigned.
Day-to-day activities involve managing incoming calls and inquiries, welcoming and assisting visitors, coordinating visitor check-in processes, supporting meeting room setup, handling routine administrative tasks, and assisting with office-related requests and support functions.
Required qualifications include minimum 1 year of professional experience, high school diploma or GED required, basic computer proficiency, familiarity with standard office applications, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment, and professional and courteous demeanor.
Preferred candidate profile includes friendly and professional front-office presence, strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and dependable, comfortable interacting with visitors, employees, and vendors, and ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of customer service.
Dress code is business casual.
