LSU Health New Orleans Division of Auxiliary Enterprises/Residence Hall is seeking motivated individuals for the title of Administrative Coordinator 3. This is skilled trades work assembling, installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing structures, equipment, finishes and accessories across all maintenance trades. Minimum Qualifications

Two years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Incumbent is the initial point of contact for visitors and callers to the Student Housing Office and is independently responsible for determining how best to meet their needs.

Prepares and processes lease agreements, orientation materials and sorts disseminates incoming and outgoing mail

Collaborates with the Coordinator of Residence Life with the arrival and departure of Student Housing tenants and affiliate tenants.

Issues maintenance requests for tenants and assists with tenant complaints, lock outs and tenant emergency situations.

Makes periodic inspections of Resident Hall floors in order to monitor visitors and dormitory residents abide by the stated policies.

Accompanies internal and external safety inspectors on building inspections in addition to accompanying vendors or maintenance staff for preventative maintenance issues within the building.

Coordinates and receives deliveries from vendors.

May be assigned cashier or other administrative duties within auxiliaries due to staff shortage or other emergencies.

Appointment Type: Probationary Appointment

Location: 1901 Perdido St. New Orleans LA 70112

Work schedule: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday

Compensation: Starting at $13.77 rate may be increased dependent upon applicants' qualifications. There is also an additional $1 Longevity Pay for hours worked only.

Pre-employment Drug testing, Physical and Criminal Background check are required.
