Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Thur 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM
Fri 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requesting assistance from appropriate personnel and/or public agencies when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and report access concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and/or shift communications, and support assigned duties with professionalism, sound judgment, and attention to post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
