As a Bartender at Excalibur, you will create memorable guest experiences by crafting exceptional cocktails, serving beverages with confidence and efficiency, and delivering genuine, engaging hospitality. You will showcase your knowledge of handcrafted cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and non alcoholic beverages while making personalized recommendations that elevate every visit. Working in a fast paced, high energy environment, you will maintain a clean, well stocked bar, anticipate guest needs, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere where every interaction reflects the legendary service and vibrant energy that make Excalibur a destination guests want to return to.

The starting rate: $17.9497 USD hourly

The day-to-day:

  • Make and serve alcoholic and non‐alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as needed
  • Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order; including, cleanliness, sanitation and appearance of the bar
  • Knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non‐alcoholic selections available
  • Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork
  • Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service and bartending
  • Maintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar
  • Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
  • Perform other job‐related duties as requested

The ideal candidate:

  • Is 21+ years of age
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in a bar or similar setting preferred
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
