What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting providers and delivering excellent patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and updating medical histories
- Assisting with procedures and exams
- Performing clinical duties such as injections, EKGs, venipuncture, and lab testing
- Documenting patient information in the EMR
- Coordinating patient flow and supporting providers
- Educating patients and supporting follow-up care
- Maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
- Additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- CPR certification
- Strong computer and communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish
Preferred:
- Medical Assistant certification
- EMR experience
- 0–2 years of clinical experience
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
