Wilkins Miller Business Operations Assistant provides administrative support to the firm's internal operations and assists with a wide range of office administrative tasks. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional office environment, allowing students to develop essential workplace skills while gaining insight into the daily functions of a business. What You'll Do

  • Gaining real-world experience while supporting firm operations, building meaningful relationships in the business community, and getting potential exposure to leading accounting software
  • Tackle hands-on tasks in the production room, including assembling, mailing, and delivering tax returns and other key client materials
  • Scanning, organizing, and managing important documents that keep our operations efficient and on track
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of internal events that bring our team together and strengthen firm culture
  • Performing receptionist responsibilities by confidently answering calls and being the welcoming face of our office
  • Run deliveries and errands that help keep the team moving

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in the College of Business
  • Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior in good standing
  • Cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Professional, punctual, resourceful, and well-organized
  • Reliable and self-motivated with a positive, flexible attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Available to work an average of 16-25 hours per week, with occasional assistance needed for weekend or evening events
