Concrete Finisher — Weekly Pay!

$25–$30/hr (based on experience) • First Shift • Pittsburgh, PA

Aerotek is hiring Concrete Finishers for a steady, Monday–Friday first-shift role (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) right in Pittsburgh near the Strip District. If you enjoy hands-on work, reliable hours, and a strong team environment, this is a great opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Concrete Finishing — Grade, pour, and finish concrete for floors, sidewalks, curbs, and stairs.
  • Site Prep — Set elevations using skid steers, shovels, rakes, lasers, and string lines.
  • Form Building — Build and place wooden forms to hold concrete at correct depth and alignment.
  • Reinforcement — Install rebar, wire mesh, and expansion joints.
  • Concrete Placement — Spread, level, and finish concrete using hand tools, power tools, trowels, screeds, and floats.
  • Hardware Installation — Set anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures before concrete cures.
  • Quality Finishing — Produce clean, professional finishes using brooms, hand tools, power trowels, and riding trowels.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Concrete Experience — Prior concrete finishing or form carpentry experience.
  • Tool Skills — Comfortable with tape measures, trowels, straight edges, nail guns, and power tools.
  • Physical Ability — Able to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, kneel, and work outdoors.
  • Safety Minded — Comfortable with ladders, PPE, and construction environments.

Bonus Skills: ACI certification, masonry experience, or commercial construction experience.

Work Environment

You'll work in commercial new-construction settings, around machinery and other trades. Expect outdoor conditions, loud environments, and year-round work — including colder temperatures.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plum, PA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 – $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
