Construction Laborer

Skilled Laborer

We are seeking dependable and experienced Skilled Laborers to support a wide range of construction activities on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and capable of performing physical tasks while assisting skilled trades and operating tools and equipment. We are building decks and working in a carpentry focused environment. This role will offer $20 – $21 an hour and can start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties on job sites, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
• Assist carpenters, equipment operators, and other skilled trades as needed.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials per project specifications.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and supervisor instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards.
• Support concrete work, framing, demolition, or carpentry work as required.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of construction or skilled labor experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to take direction and work independently when needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general labor, construction, hand tools, power tools, carpentry, concrete, framing, blueprint reading, framer work, and siding installs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Biddeford, ME.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
