Oversee daily distribution picking operations using EPJs to meet accuracy and productivity goals.
Distribution Associate (Case Picker)
The Distribution Associate (Case Picker) is responsible for accurately picking cases and moving materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods using material handling equipment while following SOPs, maintaining quality standards, and supporting warehouse operations in a metrics-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJs), forklifts, power trucks, conveyors, cranes, and handcarts
- Transport, stage, and organize materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods throughout the warehouse
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick tickets and product labels
- Utilize handheld scanners and RF devices to complete inventory transactions and maintain order accuracy
- Load, unload, and move materials while following established safety procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory and operational records as required
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and quality standards
- Perform routine warehouse, material handling, and logistics tasks to support daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, reach, push, pull, twist, grasp, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more
- Comfortable working around moving machinery, powered industrial equipment, and vibrating equipment
- May occasionally work at elevated heights and around dust, fumes, or airborne particles
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment with hot summer temperatures and cold winter conditions
- Ability to work in a moderate- to loud-noise warehouse environment while adhering to all safety requirements
