Ensure on-time delivery of construction materials by efficiently managing routes and logs

Licensed Dump Truck Driver

Tucker Paving Inc. and Jet Materials are hiring a Licensed Dump Truck Driver to ensure the safe and timely transport of materials such as dirt, aggregates, asphalt, and equipment to various job sites. This role involves operating and maintaining assigned trucks, coordinating with dispatchers to plan routes, and tracking deliveries effectively.

Requirements:

  • Class A or B CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
  • At least 3 years of driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Valid medical certificate
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work occasionally on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive long distances to deliver materials
  • Load and unload materials as required
  • Accurately log deliveries and maintain records
  • Keep the vehicle clean and refueled
  • Report road incidents and mechanical issues
  • Follow traffic laws and company safety protocols
  • Use GPS to plan routes and ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain accurate logs of hours worked
  • Handle accidents or road incidents per company procedures
  • Maintain a positive attitude with customers
  • Ensure CDL is up to date
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
