Manage front desk operations at the Welcome Center and support school administration daily.
Welcome Center Position
The Welcome Center serves as the primary point of contact and liaison between High School administration, faculty, staff, students, parents, and visitors. This position is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional environment, while providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient daily operations. Key responsibilities include assisting with student attendance, processing late arrivals and early dismissals, responding to inquiries, and supporting administrative functions. The role requires excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive, professional appearance and demeanor.
Starting Date: 8/15/2026
Salary: Appropriate placement per Classified Employees Salary Schedule, which will be commensurate with experience and education.
Reports To: Principal or Designee
Benefits: One approved personal day per year; sick leave.
Work-Week/Year: Up to 29 hours a week ~ 184 days a year (10 months)
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, frequently using Word and Excel with particular focus on reporting and advanced formulas, with the ability to create and maintain several databases. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Proven capability to prepare correspondence to all stakeholders. Ability to operate various office machines. A motivated self-starter with strong time-management abilities. Able to work quickly and independently, handling multiple projects at one time and meeting deadlines. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve. Professional tact, diplomacy, and presentation with staff and stakeholders. Record of excellent attendance. Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with administrators, staff, students, parents, associates, vendors, and community members.
Desirable Qualifications: General knowledge of the functions and activities of the public school system. Experience working with high school students.
