Lead incoming quality inspections to ensure all metal components meet specifications.
Quality Inspector
We're seeking a Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team supporting incoming inspection of outsourced metal components. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an established manufacturer that continues to expand its production operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspections of metal components.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Read engineering drawings and inspection specifications.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Process inspection records within an ERP system.
- Work with Quality Engineers and manufacturing personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Help ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements before production.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Quality Inspection experience in manufacturing.
- Experience inspecting metal components preferred.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools.
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, M3, or similar).
- Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred
- Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Aerospace or semiconductor manufacturing experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
- Occasional overtime available.
Pay: $25.00–$26.00/hr
