Inventory Control Supervisor

Job Description

Lead daily warehouse inventory operations and implement improvements to reduce discrepancies

Join Our Team: Inventory Control Supervisor

Location: Coeur D'Alene, ID

Are You A Detail-Oriented Leader Who Keeps Operations Moving Flawlessly?

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Inventory Control Supervisor to lead our daily inventory operations. In this role, you won't just oversee the numbers—you will guide a team, tackle discrepancies head-on, and ensure our warehouse runs at peak accuracy.

If you are a problem-solver with strong warehouse experience and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Lead & Train: Direct the daily work of inventory team members, spot-check their accuracy, and train them on standard operating procedures.
  • Drive Accuracy: Oversee daily and weekly cycle counts, perform variance research, and correct system/location discrepancies.
  • Maintain Product Integrity: Lead quality control (QC) checks across dry, freezer, cooler, tobacco, and candy zones. Ensure out-of-date and damaged products are properly pulled and documented.
  • Investigate & Resolve: Run reports on lost sales, negative inventory, and product issues, communicating findings directly to warehouse leadership.
  • Collaborate: Partner across departments (Receiving, Fulfillment, and Purchasing) to resolve daily issues and escalate high-risk discrepancies.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Strong background in warehouse operations or inventory control.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to train, direct, and motivate a team.
  • Technical Savvy: Comfort using inventory systems, RF scanners, and reporting tools.
  • Sharp Eye for Detail: Strong analytical and research skills to track down the root cause of inventory variances.
  • Excellent Judgment: Ability to work independently under established standards and know exactly when to resolve issues locally or escalate them.

Why You'll Love This Role

This is a supervisor-level position where you have the authority to direct daily operations, implement process improvements, and truly own the execution of your warehouse's inventory success. You will work closely with the Inventory Control Manager, acting as the critical link between high-level strategy and daily warehouse execution.

What We Offer (Benefits & Perks)

We care about our team's well-being both inside and outside the warehouse. Here is what you can expect when you join us:

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Peace of Mind: Life insurance policy coverage.
  • Mental Health Support: Company-paid mental health counseling resources.
  • Recognition & Rewards: Participation in our AwardCo employee recognition program to celebrate your hard work.
  • Company Culture: Fun employee appreciation parties to unwind and connect with the team.
