LEAD REGIONAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE DISPATCHER (OA)
Job Description
Lead regional emergency response dispatch operations coordinating agencies and units during emergencies.
Duties
You will lead three or more Emergency Response Dispatchers in completion of daily functions directly reporting to the RDC Supervisor.
You will determine the response agency and services to be rendered in accordance with established guidelines based on the nature of the emergency.
You will verify the location and call back number for a medical patient and determine the severity of the emergency situation utilizing the EMD checklist.
You will utilize computer databases to access and secure security areas, recall logged events, track and relay information on special operations.
You will track location of assigned units, alarm testing in progress, and status of emergency responses.
