Coordinate daily warehouse and loading dock operations to meet productivity targets.
Logistics Specialist
This role will begin as a traditional 7AM to 3:30PM role for the first 60 days, and then will pivot to an A/B shift.
The work week alternates between Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday.
The primary site is at 101C International Drive in Portsmouth, but may also include 166 Corporate Drive in Portsmouth, and can include both locations in a single day (approximately half a mile away).
The role will cross train in both the Warehouse, and the Loading dock, so workers should be comfortable working in a variety of conditions. Loading dock is unconditioned, is subject to weather & is noisy (ear protection is provided), and the warehouse includes freezer storage (jackets and gloves are provided).
Role will include working with Pallet Trucks, Forklifts, Swing Reach, Cherry Pickers, etc.
Requires lifting of 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Onboarding compliance includes a DOT Physical (using Foley Services), Med Card, and DMV Reference Check.
Workers cannot use headphones/earbuds while using equipment, but can when not using equipment.
Role requires safety shoes.
Cross-train in both the Warehouse and the Loading Dock, Operate Pallet Trucks, Forklifts, Swing Reach, and Cherry Pickers, Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally (25 pounds regularly), Complete onboarding requirements including DOT Physical, Med Card, and DMV Reference Check, Work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for the first 60 days and then transition to an A/B shift
