Manufacturing Technician
DPP is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for our client in the Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing industry. Work location: Onsite in San Diego, CA Work schedule: 9×80 A Duration: 3 months Terms: W2 contract Work authorization: US Citizen Position summary:
The Manufacturing Technician will support the assembly of various composite and metallic components. This role will report to the appropriate Value Stream Manager and support key production programs.
Primary responsibilities:
- Read and comprehend Manufacturing Work Instructions and internal specifications.
- Follow both written and verbal directions.
- Demonstrate good time management and act as a team player.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- High School diploma or equivalent and zero years of experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal directions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Produces and able to learn how to operate various software systems (Costpoint CP and MES).
- Comfortable with manual labor.
Preferred qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined
- Familiar with composite and metallic details.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Aerospace manufacturing.
- Experience in blueprint reading.
- Experience in material preparation.
- Experience with adhesive bonding.
