Nature Of Work
Join our growing team as an Office Operations Assistant with the Department of Human Services, Bureau for Family Assistance in the Cabell district! We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for various clerical duties, including customer service, logging clients to the appropriate department, reception/switchboard, scanning documents, running/sorting/distributing/scanning mail, email and faxes, following office policies and procedures. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and office machines preferred. The candidate will routinely operate various types of office equipment. The candidate may be trained in areas such as a financial clerk and an equipment coordinator to assist in a backup role. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from a standard high school or the equivalent.
Perform clerical duties including customer service, logging clients to appropriate department, reception/switchboard duties, Scan documents and handle mail distribution and sorting, Process emails and faxes in accordance with office policies, Operate and troubleshoot various office equipment, Follow established office policies and procedures; back up roles as needed
