Description

The overnight housekeeping attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the club, public areas, hallways, locker rooms, fitness center, restroom facilities and back-of-house spaces during overnight shifts, ensuring a welcoming environment for arriving guests and supporting the day shift operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• To perform a combination of tasks that maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive guest/member experience.
• Cleaning assigned public areas as required by emptying trash, dusting furniture, washing windows, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Clean bathroom and replenish bathroom supplies in guest rooms and in all public areas.
• Wipe and sanitize gym equipment.
• Dust furniture and equipment. Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using a vacuum cleaner.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
• Operate laundry machines, process linen, and stock linen closets.
• Maintain all equipment used in working order.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the restaurant and ding bar areas.
• Removal of trash and vacuuming all areas to include ballroom areas in preparation for scheduled day events.
• Deep clean and sanitize locker rooms and sauna.
• Communication with Guest services fulfilling requests from rooms.
• Run items as requested.
• May be requested to perform other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications.
• All other duties as needed and or assigned.

Qualifications

Skills/Abilities:

• Possess good verbal, written, and listening skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be flexible to work holidays, weekends and overtime as needed. (shifts may change depending on operational needs).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed, energetic, and efficient.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to pass a background check.
• 10% English Communication.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand and walk on their feet for 95% of the shift.
• Able to reach, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks as required.
• Must be able to climb stairs with vacuum cleaner.
• Able to push and pull carts and other equipment.
• Regularly lifts 25 pounds and occasionally lifts 50 pounds.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
