Oversee storeroom inventory and parts flow to support maintenance operations.

Inventory Control Specialist

This role oversees inventory control in the storeroom, including receiving, storing, and managing maintenance supplies and miscellaneous items. Responsibilities also include supporting team members in the parts room, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks. Additional duties involve maintaining inventory records in the system, organizing parts in designated bins with appropriate minimum and maximum levels, and managing storeroom operations when the Supervisor is absent. The position may also involve other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 6 months + experience in maintenance or a parts room preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills: proficiency in Microsoft office SAP required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and suppliers.
  • Special Skills: Ability to read and write; possess basic math skills; ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift objects weighing 50 or more pounds occasionally
