Job Description

Dispatch emergency calls and coordinate radio communications across CHP border centers and field units

Operate radio consoles for four area offices, resident posts, scale facilities and Freeway Service Patrol, Answer 9-1-1 cellular calls, allied agencies, and general public telephone lines using the Vesta system, Document information from calls and officers in the field using a computer aided dispatch (CAD) system, Working in Border Communications Center in San Diego on a 3/12 alternate work week schedule
