Start Pay Rate: $17.00 – Paid every Friday.

Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday (Four-10-days plus overtime as needed) – 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Quality Technician (2nd Shift) to join our production team. The Quality Technician is responsible for accurately assessing and reporting on production output to ensure that all finished products meet our company's high standards for quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and collect product samples at scheduled intervals to verify quality.
  • Confirm raw materials are correct and match setup sheets.
  • Perform visual, quantitative, and functional testing according to product standards.
  • Conduct line testing on downstream equipment (labelers, capers, heat sealers).
  • Make product acceptance decisions following written procedures and limit samples.
  • Document inspection and testing results accurately per ISO standards.
  • Hold or release products based on test outcomes.
  • Ensure all test equipment has current calibration.
  • Verify line coding accuracy and print necessary paperwork and labels.
  • Work closely with production and other departments to meet quality expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, follow directions, and work independently.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for long periods.
  • Comfortable working in hot or cold environments with varying noise levels.
  • Must be able to work around liquid chemical products.
