Receptionist Position

We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to support daily front desk operations for a construction organization in Lansing, Michigan. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, managing incoming communications, and keeping administrative tasks on track in a busy office. The right candidate will bring strong workplace conduct, strong phone etiquette, and the ability to handle multiple priorities with confidence. On-Site, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and create a detail-oriented first impression while directing guests to the appropriate staff or department.

• Manage a multi-line phone system, answer incoming calls promptly, and route messages accurately to ensure smooth communication throughout the office.

• Provide front desk coverage while maintaining dependable support for day-to-day office needs.

• Perform a range of administrative duties such as organizing records, handling correspondence, and assisting with general office coordination.

• Respond to caller and visitor inquiries with courtesy and clarity, escalating issues when needed to the appropriate team members.

• Keep the reception area orderly and support overall office efficiency by monitoring routine front desk activities.
