Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants, guests, and staff through strong communication and customer service while bringing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

Sun 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access-related issues, reporting unusual conditions, and supporting a professional environment for occupants and guests.
  • Assist with routine inspections of the location for maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations, and report findings through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
