Security Officer Patrol Response

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Destin, FL, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the community, including common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and community traffic, verify visitor and/or vendor entry when required, and report unauthorized persons, vehicles, or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
- Support residents and property staff with routine security-related concerns, provide directions and information when needed, and complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
