Salary Range: $6,452 – $8,671 Monthly
This position is represented by the Teamsters 117 bargaining unit. This recruitment will fill two open positions.

In this role, you will support the Department's mission to improve public safety by supervising Corrections and Custody Officers while actively participating in custody operations at the Washington Corrections Center for Women. As a Sergeant, you will maintain custody and control of residents while ensuring daily operations run smoothly, safely, and in alignment with established policies and procedures.
The candidate of choice will play a key leadership role by directing and supporting staff in managing the movement, activities, and behavior of adult residents. Your work will directly contribute to a structured, secure, and respectful environment where safety is the top priority for residents, staff, and the surrounding community. At the same time, you will help bring the Reentry Division's mission to life by fostering opportunities for residents to build skills, access resources, and prepare for successful reintegration into society.
