Stockroom Clerk With Forklift

Our client, a manufacturing and industrial services provider, is seeking a Stockroom Clerk with Forklift to join their team. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Shippensburg, PA

Pay Range: $18 to $20 an hour

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

  • Receiving, identifying, storing, and distributing a variety of raw materials, parts, and assemblies
  • Using a forklift to transfer, transport, and store materials including steel plates, purchased parts, and subassemblies
  • Picking material orders based on system-generated pick lists, sales orders, and purchase orders
  • Documenting shortages and defective materials, and forwarding information to relevant teams
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area following 5S practices and safety regulations

What's Needed?

  • Ability to operate a forklift and other powered industrial vehicles
  • Knowledge of inventory management and material handling procedures
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to participate in shop improvement projects
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
