Surface Maintenance Mechanic
This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC, Position Description Number D1194000 and is part of the ME FMS 2, National Guard.
Troubleshoots, performs maintenance and major repairs on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles, Troubleshoots, repairs and overhauls major systems including engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics and electrical systems, Removes and disassembles engines and major assemblies, reassembles and tests components, Provides technical guidance and leadership to lower grade employees, Performs readiness and repair inspections and ensures proper servicing of vehicles and equipment
