Sterile Processing Tech Manager
Sterile Processing Tech Manager requires interview for all auto offers. Send candidate interview availability with submission. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Weekend requirement: Yes. Call required: No. Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes – may float to Pacific Campus. Start date: ASAP. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks, traveler can be called off for 1 shift per 2 week period. Years of experience required: 2 years experience required. Accepts first time travelers? Yes – with at least 2 years experience. Certs required: CBSPD OR IAHCSMM/HSPA. Locals accepted: No.
Unit details: Average surgical case volume: 65. Average daily tray volume: 1200. SPD Everett specializes in neuro, ortho, robotics, and some pediatrics. We also do all the normal service lines such as URO, general, and GYN. We are a highly motivated team with quality as our first and foremost expectation. We are looking for candidates who have supply knowledge and able to pick cases, self-motivated, and are great team players. We are a unique sterile processing department as we are a teaching department.
Orientation: 3-day orientation on day shift, 1st day arrival time is 8am-4:30pm. Day 2 and 3 arrival time will be 6am-2:30pm. Day 4 technician will transition to their contracted shift. All agency technicians will work rotating weekends unless otherwise specified in their contract.
