UT Inspector Level 2 (2nd Shift)
Job Title: UT Inspector Level 2 (2nd Shift)
Job Description: This position is responsible for performing ultrasonic testing on various components to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. The inspector will work in a team environment to meet production schedules and maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct ultrasonic testing on components to detect flaws and ensure quality.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Document test results and maintain records in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to address any quality issues identified during testing.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in ultrasonic testing or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
Operate A-Scan and C-Scan ultrasonic equipment per Scan Plans, Calibrate and standardize equipment according to Scan Plans, Evaluate and interpret ultrasonic indications, Report indications and disposition results per acceptance criteria, Review Work Orders and Customer specifications; prepare reports and certificates of conformance, Develop techniques and Scan Plans for approval, Compile daily production reports and cross-reference hours to production jobs, Move heavy material using cranes and forklifts
