Van Driver/ Transportation Specialist

What you'll do:
- Safely transport residents to and from appointments and hospital visits
- Schedule medical and follow-up appointments promptly
- Communicate appointment details to residents and primary contacts
- Arrange alternate transportation when needed
- Ensure all required documents accompany residents and return updates to nursing staff
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the transport vehicle (fuel, maintenance, registration)
- Follow all safety protocols when operating vehicles and equipment
- Assist with loading/unloading and securing wheelchairs
- Refrain from cell phone use while driving company vehicles
- Maintain professional communication with staff and external partners

What we're looking for:
- Must be age 25 or older
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (copy required)
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage a flexible schedule
- Professional appearance and dependable attendance
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Lift up to 100 lbs. and push/move 200+ lbs. (including wheelchairs on ramps)
- Stand or walk for extended periods
- May be exposed to bodily fluids and communicable illnesses
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- CNA certification and medical transport experience preferred
- Experience working with elderly residents is a plus
