Assist warehouse operations to efficiently move and stock products for production
Warehouse Associate Position
Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a warehouse associate position at a company in New Milford CT. This is a temp-to-hire position. The warehouse associate is primarily responsible for working in the warehouse and moving products. The hours are 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $18 an hour.
Job Responsibilities
- Pick products from shelf locations (check product code, size, Qty and lot/batch against packout request for production techs)
- Keep shelves neat and orderly
- Pull drums and bulk pails and deliver them to the production department for repacking
- Stock shelves with finished products from production department
- Perform general warehouse maintenance, including cleaning/sweeping
- All other duties and projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse and material handling experience preferred
- Comfortable working with chemicals
- Familiarity with DOT 49CFR guidelines is beneficial
- Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting, lifting products overhead during loading and unloading, carrying freight, and pushing and/or pulling weights on pallet jacks or drum dolly up to and in excess 450 pounds
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to pass pre-employment screenings
