Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Our client, a growing warehouse and distribution operation, is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting shipping, receiving, inventory management, and material movement. The ideal candidate will have strong forklift experience, warehouse knowledge, and a dependable work ethic.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator

Location: Cheektowaga, NY

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Shift: Monday-Friday | Flexible start time between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Initial schedule will be approximately 2:00 PM-6:00 PM, with opportunities for additional hours and potential full-time employment for the right candidate.

What's the Job?

• Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately and efficiently
• Receive, store, package, label, and ship freight
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with inventory control
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations
• Work closely with management and team members to support daily operations

What's Needed?

• Previous warehouse experience required
• Strong forklift experience required
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory processes
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
