Warehouse Worker

This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations by safely handling, moving, and preparing materials and products. You will work as part of a production and shipping team to ensure inventory flows efficiently through the facility and orders are processed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and other delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Move products from pallets to containers and other designated storage or staging areas.
  • Load products onto machinery to support production and packaging processes.
  • Transfer products from one area of the warehouse to another as directed to support workflow and organization.
  • Perform packing and packaging tasks to prepare products for storage or shipment.
  • Assist with inventory-related tasks, such as organizing products and maintaining orderly storage areas.
  • Support general labor and material handling activities throughout the warehouse as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members in shipping, production, and inventory to meet operational goals.

Essential Skills

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Experience with packing and packaging tasks.
  • Experience in inventory, production, or general labor within a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in material handling, including loading and moving products safely.
  • Ability to support shipping activities and follow instructions accurately.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to safety and adherence to warehouse and production procedures.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks, including potential training on machinery.

Work Environment

The position follows a Monday through Thursday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. You will work in a manufacturing warehouse environment that is not temperature controlled, with fans and heaters used to help manage seasonal conditions. The role is hands-on and physically active, involving regular movement throughout the facility and frequent material handling tasks.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
