Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 11:30 AM – 08:00 PM

Sun 11:30 AM – 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities across the retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, while offering assistance and directions to the public as needed.
  • Support opening, closing, and general daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious activity in accordance with post orders and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
